The Alignment Collective
When I started my Gyrotonic journey in 2005, I knew this work would be a part of my self care the rest of my life. I also knew that I wanted to share the magic of Gyrotonic movement with my clients to help empower them and give them more vitality in their daily lives. At the same time, Gyrotonic was so new in Atlanta, that I had very few places to go or people to turn to when I had questions.
Early on in my Gyrotonic career, I solved this problem by taking as many training courses as I possibly could. I built and expanded a series of studios with the goal of cultivating community among Gyrotonic teachers. I hosted expert trainers from around the world at CORE.
Many courses, three kids, one pandemic later, I learned that this always in-person model does not serve teachers well.
